Martinique-raised French-Swedish model Sigrid Agren was scouted during the Elite Model Look contest at the young age of 14. Two years later, she moved to New York City, and in her first season walked 69 shows in the prestigious Fashion Weeks of Milan, Paris, London, and New York. In the years following, she continued to work with the world’s most directional brands, including Prada, Calvin Klein, Celine, Alexander McQueen, Gucci, Bottega Venetta and many more. Gracing the covers of Vogue and leading magazines across the globe, she ultimately garnered the attention that led to an exclusive contract with Chanel.
With the fast-paced fashion industry cycle signaling a strong need to turn inward, Sigrid sought out a healthier balance. Discovering Transcendental Meditation, she eventually decided to take a break from modeling, going on to volunteer in Laos before attending Columbia University briefly, and at last venturing off on a solo backpacking journey in South East Asia.
Yet, the well-being and self-acceptance that she intently pursued finally came through a series of sequent happenings: the discovery of Qigong in 2018, a move back to Martinique in 2019, an enlightening one-on-one life coaching program, and the birth of her son in 2020.
In 2022, Sigrid returned to modeling, walking the Off-White show during Paris Fashion Week. She resolved that the right time had come to share the best of both her worlds, in an effort to share with others the transformational adventure she was fortunate to both discover and sustain.
